Biking Jubileum wedstrijd 25 jaar Surinaamse Triathlon Unie

We hereby invite you to participate in the Sprint and Olympic Distance Rotary Triathlon on the 20th and 21st of February 2010. This Triathlon is organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Suriname Triathlon Union (STU) and we would be pleased if you could join us in this celebration.
 

The Sprint Distance Triathlon will be held on the 20th of February with the possibility of entering in the following categories:

1. Male
15 – 19 yr
20 – 39 yr
40 – 49 yr
50+
2. Female
15 – 19 yr
20 – 39 yr
40 – 49 yr
50+
3. Relay with two participants
This category is open to any two people with the restriction that the minimum age of any participant is 15 years.
 

On the 21st of February 2010 we will have the Olympic distance with the possibility of entering in the following categories:

1. Male
16 – 19 yr
20 – 39 yr
40 – 49 yr
50+
2. Female
16 – 19 yr
20 – 39 yr
40 – 49 yr
50+
3. Relay with two participants
This category is open to any two people with the restriction that the minimum age of any participant is 16 years.
 

The overall male and female winners of the Olympic Distance Triathlon are eligible for cash prizes (1st USD750, 2nd USD500 and 3rd USD 250). They are not eligible for age group prizes. No other cash prizes will be awarded. The age group prizes, relay en Sprint Distance prizes awarded are trophies and medals.
 

Registration of the event can be through the attached registration forms. Please send us these forms before 31 January 2010 to be eligible for the early entry fees of USD50 for the individual Sprint and Olympic distance and USD70 for the relay teams. After the 31st of January registration is possible until the 13th of February 2010 with a late entry fee of USD70 for the individual triathletes and USD90 for the relay teams. The entry fees can be paid during the athlete registration upon arrival in Suriname.
 

We have been able to get special rates at hotels in Paramaribo for the participants of the Triathlon.
